W ith several membership options available, there's a plan for everyone! Select from:

Documented – The applicant or applicants can prove direct lineage to Scotland by birth or descent.  Documented members can vote on Society matters and retain seats on the Society Board of Directors.

Undocumented – Applicant or applicants cannot prove direct descent from Scotland, but the name or names of great-grandparents or later generations of direct family members retain a Scottish surname that is listed in the book "Family Surnames of Scotland" or other recognized genealogical work.  Undocumented members can vote and retain seats on the Society Board of Directors.

Friend of Scotland – Applicant or applicants have no ancestral ties to Scotland whatsoever, but are still interested in the Scottish arts, life, sports, etc. Friends of Scotland may vote on Society matters but cannot retain seats on the Society Board of Directors.
